mathematical freeform I
IMAGINE: living in a mathematically perfect world, devoid of irrational numbers.
PROS:
-no decimal numbers needed. everything measures to a nice round whole number.
-perfect equilateral triangles and circles are found everywhere in nature.
-theoretical concepts are easier than ever to prove.
-everything is precisely created, and the concept of approximation is foreign.
-everything exists in symmetry.
CONS:
-asymmetry goes extinct.
-true randomness, even pseudo-randomness, goes extinct.
-numerical breakthroughs such as the Golden Ratio go extinct.
-everything is too predictable. nothing feels new.
